Are you over 18 and keen to get involved with supporting young people’s mental health? How about joining our growing team of volunteers?
Volunteering is a GREAT way to GET INVOLVED with us, and support us. Not only that, it is well known that volunteers get much out of helping – they feel like they really make a difference and contribute to their own wellbeing. Many volunteers give their time to us each year and their time is invaluable.
More importantly, our volunteers change lives…
If you are interested, please complete and return the Volunteer Application Form, which you can download here.

A Volunteer’s experience…
“Being involved with Dorset Mind has been a life-changing experience already, we have met so many lovely people … and had the opportunity to talk with like-minded people about mental health issues.”
“What has impressed us most about Dorset Mind is that they are willing to listen and take on board our views, also the fact that rather than sitting around talking about ideas … Dorset Mind actually seems to go out there and get stuff done.”
“I hope I can offer support to Dorset Mind for many years to come, not only because I feel strongly that it is a fantastic cause but also because it has given me personally a purpose – making me feel better about myself.”
Our volunteers support us in a number of roles, and all are equally important to us. We simply wouldn’t be able to provide the services we offer without their help.
