Who are we?

We are a group of gymnastics teachers and mental health specialists who have joined forces to co-produce and co-facilitate an 8 week programme of support using gymnastics, mindfulness and psycho-education. The sessions are fun and informal and will allow you to explore issues in a supportive, non judgemental space. There will be no more than 12 young people in the group at one time and you can engage as much or as little as you are comfortable with. We are here to listen and offer support as you build new emotional skills and connect with others, supporting your journey towards living life mentally healthy.

What can you expect from the Connected Minds group?

The group begins with a welcome and a gentle warm up, with time to talk and share. Activities may include ball games, balance games, coordination activities, stretching, strengthening activities, flexibility games, focus activities and more. There will be time to talk and you will not be forced to do anything you are uncomfortable with doing. We take it at your own pace and you can participate as much or as little as you would like to. Over 8 weeks we will work through our therapeutic programme, helping you build your own emotional toolkit and learn new skills along the way.
